JT Accounting Group was founded by Julia Mai and Tan Nguyen with a simple belief: every business owner should have access to clear, practical financial advice they can actually understand.

Julia Mai
Partner & Managing Director
Julia is a CPA-qualified accountant with a Master of Professional Accounting and close to a decade of hands-on experience in the accounting and tax industry. She began her career at a mid-tier accounting firm specialising in SMSF accounting, tax, and compliance — and in 2025 co-founded JT Accounting Group with the vision of creating a client-focused, trusted accounting practice. Julia oversees the firm's operations and provides strategic advice across all areas of tax compliance, business advisory, and financial management.
6+ years teaching CPA candidates across Australia, with extensive hands-on experience in tax compliance and business advisory.
Tan Nguyen
Co-Founder & Tax Consultant
Tan holds degrees in Business Administration, Science, Accounting, and Teaching, bringing a unique cross-industry perspective to his work. With over 6 years of experience delivering accounting and taxation subjects to CPA candidates across Australia, Tan combines strong technical expertise with a practical, client-focused approach — ensuring complex matters are explained clearly and solutions are tailored to real-world needs.
